Vintage Tudor questions

Hi guys

I just pulled one of Dads old watches out of a box which is a vintage Tudor watch. It's not an oyster cased tudor, but has a snap back. In my experience it's a very unusual watch in that it has hardly any markings on it. The dial simply says Tudor with the small rose logo, and the outside of the back is completely sterile. The inside of the case back just says Rolex with Stainless Steel underneath it. There are no numbers anywhere on the watch! Nothing between the lugs or on the case back. Even more unhelpful is the fact that the papers don't even show any numbers. Where it says Watch No: it simply says Tudor watch. And it has been dated with day and month only. No year!! My watchmaker is stumped by this and says he has never seen a Rolex/Tudor without a serial or Ref number. He has confirmed that the Tudor signed movement is legit so We aren't doubting authenticity.

Has anyone here ever come across this? I know photos would have been handy, but the watch is currently with my watchmaker getting a service. I may pop in tomorrow and take some pics of it to see if anyone here can identify the model/age etc. I do remember my Dad wearing the watch as far back as 1960, but it has been in a box since he passed in 72.
SS

Edit. It has a 15J manual wind.

Anyone?

I have done some digging and have found identical models with identical dials, but they are all 9k gold. Mine is Stainless Steel.

On a common piece most will not comment without photos, on a more unusual piece - really need photos.
