Yes or no?
Hello,
I have a question, I guess I know the answer... Maybe in the Panerai subforum will get another answer, hehehe. I have a Panerai 424 with date, bought in 2013. I was thinking to sell it since the warranty expired this month and I'm not a fan of Pam service... Just in case that something happens with the watch in the future. I've been looking for a Rolex LV, I had one some years ago and sold it... mistake! I did find a LV Mark1 with all the documents, box and in perfect condition. Buyer wants my PAM 424 plus 500$, what do you think, it's a fair trade? Thank you very much Regards |

Not sure about the money but considering both watches I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Thank you for all your replies. Seller said that the LV never been polished, all looks perfect. He just doesn't have the plastic that protects the bezel and the anchor keyring... but documents, box, all there. I think it's not a bad idea considering that my 30th birthday will be in one month ;)

424 with date? Sounds like an okay trade, even if straight up would be more than reasonable.
As for OP service, it's really no better or worse than others, including Rolex. |

Seller was asking 8000$ for his Rolex and went down, down, down till he offer me this trade. I don't like Pam service in Spain, I do prefer Rolex service and not only in Spain This is just my personal opinion. Regards |

Some photos of the Rolex
Seller said that the watch haven't been polished, but here the crown looks... First time I see this, someone can explain to me what is it? My Panerai 424 |

I'm sure we are a little bit biased in this forum, but I would go for it!

That PAM is $8300 brand new from an AD without any discount. Seems like a good trade considering yours is almost out of warranty and the date version seems less desirable.

This month the warranty will finish in my Pam, so I prefer to let it go. I do like Panerai, I had around 6 Pam in total, but I always sell them after one or two years. This Rolex LV Mark 1 it's a beauty, nice watch! |

Well, I have now a Rolex DeepSea, that's 43/44mm, a Breitling B1 43mm and Speedmaster Moonphase 42mm.
I guess the perfect size for a watch is between 40-44mm. With my old LV (the one I've sold three years ago) in Malaysia diving And here with the instructor and two friends from Holland Regards |

Thank you once again for your time. I really appreciate it.
Tomorrow will be the day, I'll meet the seller and see if there is any luck. If the watch looks like he said, new... I'll take it. Is there anything I should check carefully? In the photos, do you see something that I should focus on? Have a good weekend! |
