nice looking 16014 - is it genuine?
Hi TRF experts, I'm looking for a classic white dial datejust like a 16014 or 16234. This watch has an interesting dial that appeals to me. Is the watch genuine?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-OYSTER...item4ae85f8247 Oddly, the seller lists a 16014 reference number and a 5.x million serial number and then proceeds to say that they are hard to see in the supplied photos. I don't see any sign of engraving between the lugs in the photos and I don't see any part numbers on the bracelet. So experts, is this a genuine watch ? Thanks in advance Chris |

Head is authentic, he probably wore the engravings away with those fake endpieces, I cannot see if the links section is authentic from those photos.

Band is definitely aftermarket... including clasp. Head looks good. 5 million serial is correct for an early 16014. At least a little of the engraving should show at that angle!

Ah... The Buckley dial. Pricing is high and seller has knowingly misrepresented
The bracelet. There are better deals to be had for sure. Keep looking and posting For advice. |
