Daytona chronograph pushers need to be screwed to ensure waterproofing?

Hey guys, I have a white gold Daytona, the left the chronograph pushers unscrewed, didn't realize this and ran the watch under the sink while I was washing my hands. The crown was screwed down tight though. Do I need to worry about water getting into the watch? Necessary to get the watch checked out/serviced?

On the manual that came with the watch, it stated that it the chronograph pushers should be left screwed to ensure water tightness.

Would appreciate any insight and advice.

It'll be fine. The screws themselves don't add any water resistance. They are recommended to be screwed down to prevent depressing the pushers underwater which would compromise watertightness.

The screw down pushers have nothing whatsoever to do with W/R they are just there to stop you activating the pushers by accident. And a fact the pushers have been pushed and activated at 30m by a French diving team. And the pushers fully unscrewed at 60m with no problem. But I would advice not to use unscrewed and activate at depths over 20m fresh or salt water for today's desk diving no problem. And winding crown must only be screwed down just finger tight no force is needed or you could damage the seal in the crown head.
