i had kind of flippantly dismissed this car based on the one photo above, but, now, seeing more, it ain't half bad.

Ugh between the humongous kidney grills and what they did with the front end in general....I can't say I am a fan. Considering how good the lines were on the original, this is hard to swallow imho

I like it but agree with your input.

This isn't really the previous model. It's the current m4. The csl is a concept car to celebrate the brands heritage and give cues to future design language, hopefully not too many cues based on this. Designer should be fired amd hit with a broom in the arse on his way out

It has potential but as is it's a bit overdone. I'd like to see what the final design is before making judgement.

I think the front looks like a Spanish conquistador with a seriously curly moustache. Has to be the ugliest front in a car this side of a Pinto or a 7 series come to think of it.

Side on and rear cartoon like but not as ugly as the front.

Just as Porsche should look back to the 928 for inspiration, BMW could do well to look at the 635 for an idea on what style and class looked like. Thinking of buying one of these myself.

nice effort but i think this is more an exercise to remind people BMW could still find their mojo again.

doubt it'll see a showroom.
