JLC Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea
Hello,
I'm interested in getting something besides a Rolex. This watch has really sparked my interest. Probably the US dial version. I know it was a limited production run back in 2011 but can't seem to find it anywhere. I don't even see it on http://www.watchrecon.com Is this modern replica really hard to get? I see a bunch on chrono24 and it doesn't look like there is any price premium for it. The only JLC AD by me here is Torneau, I just called them and they do not have any of these.. Thanks for your help, |

Just be patient, they pop up here and there. I actually found mine here on TRF about a year and a half ago. It is a beautiful piece, but I prefer the Euro dial.
Good luck!! |

I'm assuming since they were in AD's back in 2011 there would be no chance to buy them new from an AD? Pre-owned market would be the only option. Such a classic looking watch that you probably never see out in the wild and only WIS'ers will recognize it..I like the euro dial as well also since I read that the hour markers are luminous vs. the american dial only the hands are. Also, how is the value retention? Do they demand a premium since there are such low production numbers. (referring to the modern remake not the original) |

Beautiful watch. I always wanted one of these but never pulled the trigger. DSW might be able to get one for you.

I don't get it, you say you can't find one anywhere but that there are a bunch on Chrono 24, don't see where's the problem

Great retro mod diver. I haven't been able to squeeze it into the lineup, but I want to.
They show up for $8-9k w some regularity. Couple of the big eBay sellers often have them too. |
