Tiffany's CT60

Their RG Chrono is going for $15k, is that a fair price for what you get?

Should I just save another $3k and get a pp 5167?

I'd take the $15k and get a pre owned 5167 in great condition (ok maybe add another $1k).

Yikes - don't pay that kind of money for that Tiffany watch.

Thanks for the input guys, noted well. So the wait for a 5167 is a couple months through them, and their asking seems fair at $18,900. Yea or nea?

I really like the new Tiffany lineup. I would only consider them at a huge discount on the secondary market, which probably will take some time. Very nice watches, but if I am spending $15,000 on a watch I want most of the value there if I decide to sell it.

That Chrono is especially appealing.

I think this thread is due to Hodinkee pushing it on their site.
Way better watches for that price range.
You could put ten brands on a dart board and throw and hit a better watch for 15k

Well said. It's a reasonably attractive watch...but when you're getting into the range of used gold Daytonas, FP Journes, Aquanauts, Breguets etc.? Not a serious contender in my book. I'd rather save up a couple more grand and go with something like this:

Not a fan of that design, even at 40 mm it must wear huge considering those long long lugs.

I wouldn't buy a watch from them, the only jeweler who makes watches from which I might consider getting a piece is Cartier, in fact I have one from them, but it's 25 years old, so small and quartz, I never put it but it was a gift from my granny, so it's staying...
