shame the eBay scammers

How this could be done I don't know, but imagine a TRF 'shame the repeat scammer fund'.
A sum of money is put aside and repeat offenders eBay watches are purchased and then sellers traced. Watches crushed, bank accounts frozen and scammers handed to police (after being paraded here)!
Wishful thinking I know...........

No, you were saying that every Rolex sold on eBay was essentially a fake as I remember. Many rolex watches sold on eBay are not. That's why you were being called out.

This is BS, you said "every" Rolex on eBay was fake, more than a few times.

I didn't want this thread leading to old arguments starting again guys! I was thinking that in an ideal world we could rid ourselves of scammers. If they didn't exist we'd have to find other things to argue about.

As long as there is an endless stream of idiots with cash to burn, there'll be scammers taking advantage of their stupidity. It's hard saving people from themselves.

This is a lie. I said only experienced buyers should buy on ebay due to the risks.

They have several hundred dollar fakes that are designed to fool and I'd imagine the rr&d to make them better is p done on forums. Poor practice to blame the victim IMO.

I bet trf would do better than a govt agency at shutting down fakers.

I agree there are some high dollar, high "quality" fakes out there and some people are genuinely fooled by them, but this is the minority. Most on ebay are blurry photos of atrocious low end fakes and ebayers throw cash at them like they're strippers in a night club.
