shame the eBay scammers
How this could be done I don't know, but imagine a TRF 'shame the repeat scammer fund'.
A sum of money is put aside and repeat offenders eBay watches are purchased and then sellers traced. Watches crushed, bank accounts frozen and scammers handed to police (after being paraded here)! Wishful thinking I know........... |

I criticized eBay scammers and got attacked by some TRFers. So I'll sit this one out.

I didn't want this thread leading to old arguments starting again guys! I was thinking that in an ideal world we could rid ourselves of scammers. If they didn't exist we'd have to find other things to argue about.

As long as there is an endless stream of idiots with cash to burn, there'll be scammers taking advantage of their stupidity. It's hard saving people from themselves.

I agree there are some high dollar, high "quality" fakes out there and some people are genuinely fooled by them, but this is the minority. Most on ebay are blurry photos of atrocious low end fakes and ebayers throw cash at them like they're strippers in a night club.
