Trusted Seller 5 Year Warranty?

Have any trusted sellers stepped up with 5 year warranties on recent previous purchases like some AD's have?

Never heard of it. I've bought from over half a dozen here. Since most of the watches they sell are pre-owned, I guess the chances of getting a five year warranty would be way less than zero. Most have a very reasonable return policy, but that only lasts as long as it would take you to verify that the watch was as described, say a week.

my understanding it will apply from the date the trusted seller bought it. Warrantee is transferable so the remainder will transfer to you

That would be the logical answer for sure Mark!

Has any of the trusted sellers posted an answer to this question on the forum yet?.

Think an answer to this question is needed.

A number of owners on other threads have stated that their AD is retroactively making their 2 year warranty 5 years. Are any of the trusted sellers helping to facilitate that?

I doubt if they can do that. I think this is just a bump in the road for them till they start getting post-July 1 in. How big a bump will depend on how much pre-July 1 stock they carry.

Every watch I've bought from a trusted seller here was new. I'm sure the watches from new stock that they acquire will carry the 5 year warranty

Not if it didn't have a five year warranty when they bought it. Can't get blood out of a stone. May be eligible for the third year though. Not sure if the bill of sale is required or the active date of the warranty will suffice. I'd imagine it would because the BOS is still not required per the terms of the new warranty.
