Ceramic XV Watch of the year 2012

anybody can share some knowledge of BALL. and which is the best model you like?

I am impressed with the Technologies from BALL, and the pricing is affordable. i don't have to wait another 2 years to get it.

I like ball watches and used to own 4 of them.
I recommend buying ball watches on a 2nd hand market where their prices are very competitive.

I like some of their models, those ones in particular I don't really care for, what I really like about Ball is their use of Tritium gas tubes, such a useful feature, I wish more brands utilized them.

I want to like Ball as I have heard loads of good things about their quality but the crown guard stuff is a little funky for me.

The Hunly is a big puppy and at 42 x 17 you won't need a weight belt.

I like Tritium tubes (I have a Ball Fireman II) and all Rolex watches should have these IMO.

The ETA 2893-2-based Ball Watch calibre RR1201 automatic movement in this one has a PR of 42 hours.
If you are not wearing it you would need to wind it every day to make sure it keeps going.
Don't see the point of the PR meter?

I like ball watches in general. Not s huge fan of those particular ones with the big crown guards but as long as you like them. Solid brand, solid watch, ETA based movements, fantastic bracelets and absolute lume cannons. But as hchj said, buy pre-owned if all possible. Check Chrono24.

I love my Ball.

The tritium tubes are awesome. In fact, I bought my Rolex after my Ball and am, quite frankly, very disappointed in the Rolex Lume. It upsets me every time I look at it at night.

I own a Ball Trainmaster World Time. I bought it brand new from Amazon for about $1500, which I think is a pretty good price. Warranty through Amazon, of course. I bought it on a bracelet, but I wear it on a Janko vintage style Horween Shell Cordovan strap, made to my specifications, with a ball buckle. The bracelet is pretty chunky, and makes the watch look heavier than the case style warrants. I really like the Ball buckle. The buckle is very industrial. Not sure if you can tell from my pic, but it's made to look as if it's bolted together.

This is the only watch I will wear to the movies, if I have a choice, and is a nice low profile watch. It works really well with a suit, if I'm wearing a watch just for me (you know what I mean). The watch is COSC certified, and keeps fantastic time, losing about 5 seconds a week on its winder. A little less than that when worn regularly. I war it about once every two weeks (12 watch rotation).

Get slimmer case ones. You won't regret it. I regret selling my aviator GMT... at least now I still have my Skindiver for swimming and beach trips.

I now have 2 balls.

2 balls are better than 1, I always say.

Pic of DLC taken within minutes of delivery, about 10 minutes ago.

I got my newest at 40% off retail. I guess they couldn't move it so I benefited.
