Bought brand new online but no polishing cloth?
Hello, I just noticed that the 2 brand new Rolexes I bought both missing the polishing cloth, wondering if it is a common thing when buying online, and if buying from AD would be complete set.
Not that it matters but a bit incomplete I think. I checked the posting for same watch again and indeed the cloth was not listed at first place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm not 100% sure but I think they are no longer part of the package. Someone will chime in who knows for sure.
Bought two this year and neither one had the cloth.

When you buy from a AD they will polish your watch so online buyers have to get a aftermarket polishing cloth.
Congrats to your watches.

Funny, i bought a new G serial 16610 and it lacked a cloth. I just thought they forgot to include it. It didn't bother me because I have plenty of calls cloths from some of my older Rolexes but it's good to know that it is indeed package differently now

When I purchased a new Sub from Bucherer in Vienna, Austria in April 2015, I have received Rolex polishing cloth, Rolex travel pouch with the insert, complete documentation. They kept the green hang tag, but I did receive the red tag.

I asked at the AD when I bought my Sea Dweller. The lovely (and very pretty) assistant found me a good sized cloth and a polishing logo'd glove!
I left feeling very spoiled. |

Bought from AD in May this year; no cloth. AD stated Rolex has stopped including it.

When I purchased my LN a few weeks ago, the AD gave me a Selvyt cloth. They are superb.

Same here. I've bought a number of new Rolexes over the years for my wife and myself.

Not included from Rolex anymore, but if asked politely, any good AD will throw one in for you

They no longer include it. Rolex is stingy on the packaging IMHO. Davidsw on the other hand provided me with one for free with my ALS

No more, but you can go to a RSC and get 'em by the droves - the new cream colored polishing cloths.

Not included anymore.
You can get much higher quality microfiber cloths on amazon. They won't have the Rolex logo but they do a much better job.

I'm sure that the OP is talking about that tiny little dust cover in the box and not a real Polishing Cloth. It's been gone for several years....
If you want a real polishing cloth from the Dealer when purchasing, just ask; if they have any they will give you one.
