FSOT: Omega Seamaster Chronograph 2225.80 "Bond" Blue - $2350
I love this watch. It hearkens back to the day before Omega went oversize and over-bling on many of their watches. Unfortunately, when searching out those watches, you often find them in poor, overpolished condition. It's no way to treat a classic like this, which sports the signature Omega "bond" bracelet, skeleton hands, wave dial, and muted blue. Plus, this one has the applied dial markers, unlike the previous generation of Bond chronographs with fading, painted markers.
This watch is in unpolished condition, which is refreshing given the many overpolished examples on the market. It does have a number of light scratches from normal wear throughout the watch and bracelet, but case lines are very sharp and anyone who is a fan of vintage watches appreciates the value of the original form of the watch at the expense of a few scratches. I'm asking $2350 NET to me. Payment via wire or bank deposit preferred. Paypal, cashier's check, or money order okay, but you cover fees based on your choice of form of payment. I will cover shipping and insurance within CONUS. I have countless references on numerous forums for many high-dollar transactions. Contact me with any questions. All trades considered, but due to NUMEROUS scam attempts lately, I will ask that you ship to me first unless you can provide me solid references of transactions with forum moderators (I can on multiple forums). Thanks. |
