My iPhone 5S is no longer exporting pictures to my laptop via the USB. The iTunes app fires up when I connect, but I no longer get the Windows option to transfer images. I don't use the cloud for anything (disabled all cloud settings).

I believe this changed with one of the recent IOS 8.x upgrades. Any idea how to set it back to transfer pictures without using the cloud or iTunes?

My iPhone 4 was such a simple beast. Never had an issue... until it died.
