Which Rolex should I take on cruise and should I take it?

Considering I only have one right now, easy decision, my Bluesey.
Companion will be Navitimer.
Itinerary for Bluesey:
- Pool deck with some fine cigars
- whirlpool
- pool
- ports of call
- dinner
- dancing
- shows
.....and whatever else I can think of, while the Navi fights for some quality time of its own.

Considerations:
- can it get wet
- will someone mug me
- will it scratch
- will someone think it's fake
- Will anyone notice it at all
- will sand affect it at beach
- will it be safe in my suite's safe
Who cares? It's insured. Will post some photos soon enough.

Last cruise with my DateJust, Customs asked me if purchased new and asked to see my scratched clasp. Good thing Blusey already has some. We are good!

Was just thinking, short weekend cruise. My stop in Nassua won't entice me for new one and better yet, it's on Sunday and shops closed.
Next time.
Wife is relieved.

Yes wear it. Of course bad things can happen but why buy something and not use it? I guess the only way I would be more cautious if it was not insured. You can't control things around you only the way you present yourself, and my thought is if you are questioning wearing a watch should you be there in the first place?

That's funny on customs heard the rumors and stories. I had mine on with an omega in my bag and no questions.

Wear the watch.
That is what it was built for.
That is what you bought it for.
Wearing it is the way you can truly enjoy the watch.

Don't worry folks, my post is to tongue in cheek.
I plan to wear the heck out of it.
My motto is life is way too short. Enjoy all you have while you can.
I may even stick my wrist in the sand for kicks for a photo op.

You will find lot's of company on a Cruise Ship.

I usually take a TT black Sub or a TT GMT for the nights and dinners.

If you leave it at home it could be stolen; bring it along so you can keep an eye on it.

Deep Sea. You might sink. Milgauss is also a contender, thanks to its resistance to alien EMP attacks. Of course, Sky Dweller might come in handy if your plane is hijacked en route to cruise.

Yeah, quite a creative way to see if not declaring it via checking the inevitable scratches to all clasps.
I cracked up myself but after I had been done with him as had some of these with me.

Leave Navitimer at home. Rolex will be safer on your wrist than in your room.

Statistically, you're safer wearing it around Nassau for a few hours than wearing it to the Mall on any given Sunday in SoFla.

I think you missed the "tongue in cheek" part of my post. I figured I would sum up all the reasons folks fear and ask "should I". I even have special travel containers for my watches so they go in comfort.

I am a Royal Caribbean Diamond Plus, meaning lots of cruises in my past and on all, always a choice of high end watches to wear. They take the place of my buddy dog that can't go with me.

Sweet watch.
Identical to the one I lost. Someday will get another one. Chose to replace it with TT Bluesey for now.

I agree. I wear my GMT-II to Town Center and all over Boca without giving it a thought.
