FS: Panerai PAM 162 F Chrono Excellent Condition & 100% Complete
FS: Panerai PAM 162 F chrono in excellent condition. An important watch in Panerai's history. Only available for one year, it was the first 44mm chrono to be produced by Panerai. Production # F057X/1500. Beautiful black dial with anthracite subdials. Combination of brushed stainless steel case and polished bezel is absolutely stunning. The watch is in TZ excellent condition with hairlines from normal wear here and there, a few stray marks on the caseback, and some strap-changing marks on the lugs. Watch is winding and running very smoothly and accurately within COSC specs. It had a minor service by my watchmaker - movement cleaning and lubricating - in February 2015, but I declined his offer to polish it. The chrono functions work correctly and zero-up perfectly. The date-setting mechanism works flawlessly. Lume is perfect and glows very brightly. I prefer to use aftermarket made-for-Panerai springbars rather than screws to avoid stripping and minimize strap-changing marks. OEM screws will, of course, be included as well. The original OEM deployant buckle is mint and snaps securely. Comes with a 95% OEM "Mad Max" Coramid leather strap which I thinks looks perfect on this watch. Also comes with an OEM rubber strap in 92% condition.
The set is 100% complete, including the Montegrappa pen with a production number that matches the watch. Includes: triple box set, Libretto, operating manual unique to the 162, COSC, warranty card, extra box sticker, screwdriver, date-setting tool, Montegrappa pen refill cartridges, bezel protector, and polishing cloth - absolutely everything is there. $6,050 USD including shipping in the CONUS. I would strongly prefer a CONUS transaction. Payment by bank wire transfer preferred. PayPal payment possible, but add 3% and I will only ship to the PayPal confirmed address absolutely no exceptions. I have numerous references on multiple watch forums I will ask for yours if I dont know you. The watch and I are located in Chicago. Sorry, no trades. Questions are welcome - just PM me. Thanks for looking. |
