Will the Rolex GMT BLNR (Batman/Bruiser) ever be 42mm?

The Explorer II went to 42 mm. Do u think the GMT BLNR will ever go from the 40 mm to the 42 mm size? If so, when do u think it will happen? I'm dying for one, but really want it in 42 mm.

Why would it?

Rolex has realized, as have other manufacturers, that it makes more sense to REDUCE diameter to be more broadly acceptable to the majority of World's luxury watch buying population.

So somewhere between 38 - 41mm is perfect for most people.

Offering a 42 mm GMT would appeal to many, as would a 42 mm Sea-Dweller.
But since Rolex already offers a 42 mm Explorer II, I doubt they will make a 42 mm GMT.

I personally like the 42mm size as I have 7.5 inch + wrists, the explorer looks like a child's watch on my wrist, I also like the 44mm size of the SDDS.

Perhaps if you bash batman with the bruiser they might swell up to a larger size. PS its BLNR Rolex GMTc.

I hope not. The explorer II being up sized was not a good move. Watch it's too big IMHO.

What is with people and over sized watches? Every Rolex from professional line is kinda bulky already.
Maybe someone will start making bumpers for Rolexes, that would increase size and calm fears about scratching rolexes that so many here seem to have.

Maybe Rolex will make Cyclops spectacles in different magnifications to fully customise the size to individual requirements.

... the idea is that the BLNR is no cartoon for children... it is a precision instrument for adults with exacting specifications.

The BLNR is just fine, no idea why people are trying to resize cartoon characters

BLNR Size is perfect

I Have a GMT BLNR and come from wearing much larger watches (Large wrists at 8.5) and find the BLNR to be a great size, it certainly looks fine on my wrist. I've got a couple of 46 and 47mm watches and the BLNR gets plenty of wrist time from me

I hope not. If the DD 40 is any indication, perhaps Rolex will leave it be.

with the way sizes are going at Rolex doubt bigger versions anywhere in near future, they have that covered with other models

people realize that the 40mm case really is a sweet spot for these watches, then you have the DSSD and Exp for other sizes.

look what direction the flagship DD took 41 back to 40
