Yep, Jennifer Heil started the games off nicely for Canada with a gold in the women's moguls.

How 'bout Canada's women's hockey team? 16-0 against Italy and 12-0 against Russia. I guess it really will be a two team tournament.

I gotta say, I quite enjoyed the opening ceremonies.

The Italians always do things like that right. I loved Pavoratti, and having Luca Badoer in the Ferrari doing victory donuts was tres cool!. As a side note, it's kinda cool that I've met two of the final torch bearers (Alberto Tomba and Stefania Belmondo).

Yep, good show. Silver was for Holland as well, 3 medals now. Team Holland has a simple order: to win 1 medal each day (on average).
