Yay or Nay?

One of the good things about the GMT Pepsi is it being really casual and playful that no matter what you decide to pair it with, it'll work.
Well, a bright shade of green wouldn't. :)

I like it but think it might be a bit dark for that watch. My opinion obviously

Good looking strap!

Thanks guys. Quick question though. I noticed one of my 20 year old springbars is slightly bent. Will the newer standard ones with the grooves work (20mm). The older one I have pictured below has no notches at all and a bit longer when extended. Or should I look for the older type like what I currently have?

Look for the older type which is thicker and without the collars since yours has the holes case and hollow end links.

You don't need to worry about the collars since yours has the holes case.

The Oyster case just doesn't seem to work with straps. Looks alright with end links, but just barely.

Rolex oyster case design was meant to be paired with a Rolex bracelet.

That being said, if you like it, why not?

Looks good to me. Better on original Oyster but to be fair the Oyster will take some beating as far as GMT attachment goes. Nothing looks as good as old Oyster. The Jubilee comes close though.

Here's my P Serial Sub that I bought a new 93250 band for and I kept the original buckle and sourced a dark band and custom end links and I think it looks good .... However I will say, a sub is meant to have a bracelet.
I use only original Rolex spring bars.
I do like the look tho and it made good use of the buckle and then I made a nice sum for my old links.

Just my two cents...the strap is too dark and doesn't jive with the Pepsi. I think if the bezel were one color it would be okay, but here I would go bracelet or nato that picked up one of the existing colors. Again, just one mans opinion. Great watch at the end of the day regardless of what strap it's on :).

Mine on leather... My GMT was bought with the Jubilee bracelet so putting it on leather makes it a completely diff watch, IMO.

Although I don't mind the leather I would personally prefer a more distressed look.

As suggested by some to try a lighter shade of brown, I purchased this crocodile strap for my GMT Master ...

4 rich colors directly competing with one another...Red, Blue, Black and Brown.

I think the bracelet looks best, but try it out for a bit, it looks like a great strap!

For me fall emotes the use of leather; no likelihood of water play, no snow to shovel yet, breaking out leather jackets, and warmer leather foot wear. I've been really enjoying putting my watches on leather for the season. I think it's perfect. Nice deployant clasp I might add.
