FS: Omega Planet Ocean LiquidMetal Limited Edition 222.30.42.20.01.001 - 17xx/1948
Up for sale is a very special watch that is becoming quite rare and getting harder to find. This is the 42mm Planet Ocean LiquidMetal Limited Edition. This one features the coveted original planet ocean case while offering some of the modern materials in the newer versions. The watch is in really good shape - with wear commensurate to regular wear over the past few years. There are a few specific items to note. First, there is a small impression in the ceramic bezel near the pip at 12 (very top corner of the triangle). Hard to notice unless you are using a loupe or get really close and doesn't detract from the watch or functionality. Tried to capture it in the pictures, but let me know if you'd like other shots. Second, there is a small ding in the lower left lug near the 40 marker. Again not very noticeable, but it's there. Finally, there are a handful of small marks in the outer AR coating on the sapphire. You notice them from some angles, and from others you don't see anything and the crystal just disappears. Apart from those small issues, the watch is in really great shape with just some small scuffs and desk diving marks. TZ Excellent 92% condition. As an additional note, the watch was fully serviced by Omega in August 2014 and is still running strong within COSC specs.
Ref: 222.30.42.20.01.001 Material: Stainless Steel Crystal(s): Sapphire Movement: 2500C Diameter: 42mm Included: Inner/Outer box, Manual, Stamped and Dated International Warranty Card, Pictogram card, Chronometer card, Limited edition card, Limited edition Certificate, Card Holder, removed links (3 full and 1 half), Service Card from August 2014. Not really interested in trades, but open to hear what you've got. Based on previous sales and the increasing rarity of this watch, i'm looking for $5950 net to me on this one. I will only ship via USPS Registered mail fully insured. This takes a little longer, but is the safest way to transport high value items. If you have any questions, please let me know. Many solid references across a few forums. Thanks! |
