Err....isn't it just a little too late to be asking that question now? I mean, I sincerely hope everything is genuine; your best bet would be to take it into an OMEGA AD and let him check it out, but the next time you're not sure of a deal, best if you consult some of us here with the details and we'll be able to help you out before you take the plunge. Good luck - JJ

Well if you have the original receipt from Omega dealer, I would seriously doubt, if you got anything to worry about. But for complete peace of mind have your local AD check it out.Notice the watch has its red case with international warranty card, serial no etc, thats good and the picture shown by link looks OK to me.

Hi Leebo
Presuming you are the party in this auction with the intial G. Hi again leebo now I know you are not G so I deleted comments that do not apply.
By all means ask on this forum because there are lots on here who are pretty savvy on all types of watches. I can understand being wary on the auction for obvious reasons and seems the seller was addressing that too. I listed recently and new to me was a final notice from the auction in large red capitals which you have to read before submitting an item for sale. They state in words to this effect: YOU ARE LISTING A ( )BE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC PRODUCT. I believe this results from a recent law suit brought by Tiffany and Co due to fake imposter items. Should be really interesting because this more than anything else could stop them in their tracks so hence the proviso and caution. BUT do enjoy your Seamaster 300M! OK Sorry
What I said does not apply to you but G. Glad you cleared that up. You did however, bid and retract then bid again but you were the second bidder.
Good for you, you got the watch and it should not take a sec to check it out, but it looks and sounds OK but put your mind at ease and take it to an Omega dealer. |
