A Little Conversion for the 25721ST Worth Every Penny>>>>>
As you guys know, I am a purist when it comes to AP Royal Oaks and Royal Oak Offshores. Therefore, I never imagined doing anything to my Royal Oak Offshore 'The Very First One' a.k.a The Beast. My watch ref. 25721ST as featured here, is a very early example with serial under 200.
Well, a few days ago, I got the itch and decided to add the strap from the new Offshore Navy to give my watch a more casual look. One thing I was worried about, was if the hue of the Navy strap would match the blue therban pushers and crown on my watch, and it sure did. Could've not being happier. After adding a set of new stainless steel plots, strap screws, Navy rubber strap and new tang buckle, here's the result. All parts came straight from Audemars Piguet. Enjoy!!!

Looks fantastic!! But that's a brutal mark on the bezel, ouch!
I wish I could do the same with mine but different case design. Any other suggestions more than welcome...... |
