I think this is most likely. Wish I could have gotten a view of the dial/ bezel.

bezel seems to look like it's meant to turn, so not a daytona or day date or datejust

it's either a yg gmt IIc or a yg sub. can't tell if the links would have enough tapering to be a YMII. couldn't be anything else

the crown side of the case appears to curve out for the crown guards w/o any pushers preceding it, so we can rule out the ymII. I dont think i see a thicker clasp so no glidelock. my guess is also the gmt IIc

This was posted last week and I posted a shot of my old one. He is wearing a 1680/8 vintage gold sub with a blue dial that turned into a carmel brown aka tropical. They are beautiful and also pretty rare for the most part. Do a search and you will see my old one and a few others.

Yes and a different watch of course. He has a very nice vintage collection and some of which were sold to him by a certain member here.

Cool! I was going to say based on the crystal height it looks like something vintage, but I really don't know much about vintage subs and their availability in gold. That's pretty cool.

Yes! Once I saw the dial that's what I was thinking. I think it was last weeks or earlier episode. I DVR and watch if/when I have time.

My wife thinks I'm nuts. I was making her pause the show so I could try and figure out what model his watch is.

Look at post below from last week and I posted same watch except I had it on a leather strap. Again it is a color change 1680/8 gold sub. The dial used to be blue and turned into an awesome carmel color.

Dial changes color based in light so in this pic looks a bit darker in light much more of a lighter carmel look to it.

Agree. I'm all for variety, but IMO, the last few episodes have been a bit off the mark.
