Explorer Group Shot

Apologies for the poor quality photo but thought I'd share this group shot of my Explorers, Ranger and Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim, all sat in a new watch box from Christopher Ward (beautifully made and fantastically cheap, relatively). Just 3 more spaces to fill... Oh and another 4 in the lid

A BLNR would round off my collection perfectly wouldn't you say? Name: uploadfromtaptalk1447794648567.jpg

BBR you say? They've grown on me hugely in recent months, and I love the new BBB. I think I could live without the hulk though. I'd happily have the 50th Anniversary Sub - a friend of mine has one and it looks and fits beautifully.

Yup, personally I think BBR would compliment your collection nicely.

How about a 1016? You seem to like Explorers! Followed by a Sub and a Speedy Pro...that would round out the box nicely.

I've actually wanted a 114270, with engraved rehaut, for years but not yet managed to get one for one reason or another. I was on the verge earlier this year but went for the Ranger instead. Perhaps I should've done it the other way round...

As for a Sub, only the 50th anniversary one appeals, and as for a Speedy Pro, I like the '57 pieces but they're way down my list

Well it appears I guessed somewhat correctly! I really enjoy my 16610LV, probably the one I wear the most. I understand on the Speedy, I added mine after I had acquired several others, plus it was a deal I could not refuse!

Add a JLC Master Control to give every watch a twin.

I fancied a JLC Ultra Thin for years, but went for the more bargainous Montblanc. Not really sure about the Master Control, to be honest.

BBR though :D

That is a thing of beauty. Love my 214270, but that 1016 dial is gorgeous.

Very nice, some colour would be a good addition, BLNR, blue YM or Milgauss maybe.

Nice collection of explorers! I always thought the ranger was a bit too similar to the exp 1, but seeing them together in the photo makes me realize it is different enough on its own.

Thanks for your comments! Clearly some colour is in order then

I think the BLNR is at the top of my list, by quite a margin, but aside from not having the funds for one at the moment, I can't help thinking that I could get 2 Black Bays and still have spent less. Not so keen on any of the YMs or the Milgauss though, to be honest.

That 1016, Dan, is a thing of beauty! How precious is must be to you. The watch I stand to inherit from my dad is a pretty ugly squareish, yellow gold Omega from the 70s. Of course, it will mean the world to me :-)

Means an awful lot to me as he wore it pretty much every day since the year I was born.

Great collection no matter what you decide to add. (I'd go with some variation of the BB and then a speedy!)
Dan that 1016 is just amazing, even more so because of the family attachment.

James / Neil

I've only taken some poor pic's of the Montblanc so far, but you can see some quality pic's here:

http://www.ablogtowatch.com/montblan...ra-slim-hands/
http://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the...rie-ultra-slim

I'm sure there must be a good strap one in there somewhere
