1991 Explorer II (16570) with RubberB
Decided to change the look of my 20+ year old Explorer II by adding a RubberB band. Makes it look more "sporty," informal, and unique.
Plus, it breathed new life into my desire to wear it more. It was a bit of a bear to put it on, but I eventually got it. Not sure how easy it'll be to remove, but I don't think I'll be taking it off anytime soon. |

Thanks. It's old, has dings, and the lume left long ago, so I thought I should "sport" it up a bit with the rubber band. I tried leather on it a few years back, but didn't like it.
The original oyster band really never fit me right anyhow; the clasp didn't seem to want to lay in the right place on my wrist (under), so the watch never really rested on the top of my wrist centered. This band looks to have solved that (I didn't get the clasp style, but rather the traditional buckle style). |
