Next hunt: Milgauss zblue or 36mm DJ rhodium dial on Julbilee

Hi peeps, just thinking out loud on the next hunt. It will be more worn as a dress watch.

Which is more advisable?

I currently have 116610LN, 116613LB and 116600.

Cheers

datejust unless you are a scientist or a science teacher dressing up for parents evening or something then wearing a milgauss would be pretty cool

i love my milgauss zblue. if you like the colour and need a little bit of that even on a dressier situation then go for it. if you don't then stick to the DJ, i feel the DJ is definitely a safer choice.

You mean one of these? I also have it on an all brushed Oyster bracelet, for a more casual, every day look.

The Milgauss is actually a pretty dressy piece.

I think it's somewhat flashier than a steel Datejust..

You can google up images of Daniel Craig sporting a black Milgauss in a tuxedo.

If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me..

If you want one Springer's Jewelers in Portland Maine has a Z-Blue in stock as of November 28th 2016. Ask for Chris

I like the Milgauss more, but since you said you wanted a dress watch the DJ is better suited for this.

If you want your watch to be unique then get the Gauss; if you want the Rolex look get the DJ.

I voted for the Milgaus over thr DJ in the poll, but if you like the blue of the Milgaus, here's my former (and, yes, I'm sorry I sold it) TT DJ with the absolutely killer blue dial. I'd go with this DJ combination in TT again.

That is one gorgeous timepiece. Love the blue dial.

For dressy, I would go with the DJ.

And you have to tried the Milgauss on yourself and see, while I love them, I don't find them to be comfortable for my wrist size and shape.
