FSOT: Rolex "Pre Explorer" Bubble Back Ref 6098 Original Dial and Hands 36mm Vintage

This is a Rare Rolex, Considered to be the Explorer prototype or "Pre Explorer" in Stainless Steel, This is a Full Size Bubbleback style case in 36mm, with a Plastic/Acrylic Crystal. Dial is signed Precision as this was before chronometer certification.

Serial: 72xxxx dating back to 1950 (serial is intact but has been blurred out of photos for security) in

Dial: Original untouched, very nice patina overall.

Condition: Good, Thick Case Lugs, Dial is in great shape, Crystal clear of scratches, Strap is brand new Fluco brand suede in blue color, Movement was just serviced completely by my watchmaker, the watch is running and keeping great time. I received the watch without the original crown and tube, The original were not screw down for this model, this watch was given a replacement service crown, This is standard practice at RSC, to issue a screw down crown and tube. This now makes the watch water resistant.
