I'm sorry, but you can't use or say that....

....its Rolex's registered trademark:

Rolex
Oyster (be careful what you order at your next seafood bar)
Cerachrom
Cosmograph
Crownclasp
Datejust
Day-Date
Daytona (they might have a problem with this one)
Easylink
Everose
Explorer (those who actually explore will now be referred to as wanderers through the wilderness)
GMT Ice
GMT-Master
Goldust
Jubilee (didn't Queen Elizabeth have one of those a few years ago?)
Milgauss
Oysterclasp
Parachrom
Paraflex
Pearlmaster
Perpetual (Einstein is rolling over in his grave right now)
President (anybody notify Obama yet?)
Ringlock
Rolesium
Rolesor
Rolex DeepSea
Rolex Glidelock
Rolex Royal Black (that's a new one on me)
Rolex Royal Pink (I'm pretty sure I don't want to go there)
Sea-Dweller
Submariner (let's see you sell this idea to the US Navy)
Tridor
Triplock
Turn-O-Graph
Twinlock
Yacht-Master
Yacht-Master Regatta

It seems the only trademarked, copyrighted, homogenized, blended, protected word they didn't include in this list is UNOBTAINIUM, which is the material that most Rolex watches will be made from after their next round of price increases.

Odd... I don't see Bluesy, Rollie, Kermit, Hulk, Batman or Bruiser on the list. Why would a company like Rolex not readily adopt such mature, elegant and distinguished sounding nicknames for their timepieces?

Google "ROLEX BATMAN" and see what comes up.

Where is it?

That they monitor these terms/words?

I'm being sincere in my question.

Oakley has been using the word Unobtainium since at least the early 2000's in their marketing and advertising.

I still don't understand under what circumstances the queen mother at Rolex can forbid someone from using one of "their" terms.

I've seen thousands of sales or auction offerings and had a dozen or so of my own where those terms were used in reference to Rolex watches or parts and don't recall any ill effect, unless total loss of memory of the event is one of them.

Is this something along the lines of the Cartier and use of Tank as a descriptor for other makers watches situation?

This is obviously not serious. Not how trademarks work.

Probably like the word Superbowl is registered with the NFL, and if you use it with out paying the proper license fee, they will shut you down.Thats why you will hear a lot of companies use the phrase "Big Game"

Yes but we cannot let facts get in the way of a good thread on the internet

Although I'm not a fan of it I always thought that Rolex also made the word cyclops and if so it should be on the list as well.
