Need Help With a Rolex 67193 !!!!
Hi,
Would appreciate anyone's knowledge in identifying this. Seller on eBay is willing to sell this Ladies Rolex 67193 with papers. I noticed on the paper it says Dial - Silver. But the watch has a champagne colour dial. And it also says :Style Number- R67193310B6252 on the Papers. Bit confused. Has the dial been changed ? And also the dial has the superlative chronometer text. Thanks any information would be helpful. |

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. So does that mean the dial on the watch which is not silver but champagne colour could have been added later ? |

It's risky at times on Ebay...
I don't know the answers to your questions, but If anything ever pops up as to an inaccuracy...PASS on IT and get one that passes all the tests...
Some stories...

Clearly the dial was changed at some point.
The question is whether the champagne dial is an authentic dial. I would ask seller and see if they have documentation to support the change. If can support it and can be verified as legitimate, if watch is at a good price, wouldn't deter me as dials can always be changed. |

However, if you are looking at a photo it could be deceiving. The Rhodium dial is bright silver, the Silver dial is a warmer tannish color, and the champagne dial is just gold in color and I have never liked them.. Changing dials on Datejusts is common, as well as bezels. There are dozens of dials to choose from and many Dealers will order a dial and change it for the customer to make the sale. Buying used, you never know how it got that way but it doesn't mean there is something wrong.

Another question is -
As the Dial now has the text superlative chronometer. I gather if its the original dial the chronometer serial would be on the papers as well. Which i do not see. So my conclusion is that the dial has been changed at some point. |
