Rolex sea dweller verification
I just purchased this watch from eBay and need help verifying if it's 100% legit. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum!
It amazes me how with such poor pictures a watch could be sold. Also that you are a member of this forum, one of the greatest resources for watches, and you turn to the "Bay" to buy this watch. I am sure the watch is fine...but for you to do your due diligence, take it to a watchmaker and have the movement checked, model and serial number references. Hopefully the watch is not stolen and you will ok.. |

I bought it because I got a pretty good deal and it's the model I've been looking for. So the watch is legit then?

Just going of the description alone I wouldn't go near the seller of that watch. I wouldn't " waist " my time.

Why would you buy a watch then ask if it is authentic? Shouldn't it be the other way around, ask then buy?

Listen, asking if the watch is real based on the photos from eBay and the one photo you've posted here isn't gonna get you any confidence. Take it to an AD, open it up and have it authenticated. If you cannot do that, the only way we can help is if you take off the bracelet and take hi-res photos of the serial number and model numbers on the opposite case ends. Then take hi-res photos of the dial and clasp. Then we can weigh in. Short of that we will be guessing.
