Rolex Submariner Two Tone Black Vs Blur

I am thinking of getting a Submariner two tone watch and I am debating whether to get one with a Black or Blue dial. Anyway, for all of you out there, if you had to choose between a Black or Blue two toned Rolex Submariner, which shall it be?
Thanks in advance.

I recently chose the blue version, to me it is a classic rolex model. That being said it was easy for me as I have a 114060 so I already had a black dialed watch. If it was going to be my only rolex or if I didn't have other black dial models in my collection, I would strongly consider the black dial version, it is more versatile IMO. No wrong answer here. Good luck in your search. That sunburst dial is amazing though. Mine says hello.

Blue all the way. It's a stand out among all watches in the watch world.

Blue would be my choice without question, especially since Rolex changed the blue dial to the sunburst blue dial. This happened a couple of years ago.

For a black dial TT sport watch, I would go with the GMT Master II.

Here is a shot of my old TT blue Sub.

Very true.

Probably the reason why Rolex changed the dial back to resemble the old TT blue Sub dial.

I want to add this experience. I own many fine brands of watches and all of them do a beautiful black divers watch. There is a sea of beautiful black watches out there. Rolex TT sunburst blue dial sets itself apart from the crowd in a big way. It is not a watch that sits in the corner and pretends not to be noticed. There is enough Rolex models that will go without a second glance if that's your style. The TT blue screams "notice me". Rolex Sunburst blue TT Sub has been around along time and isn't a trendy flashy watch but rather a time proven signature classic so it doesn't come across as garish. This is a Rolex from the days when their customers were not trying to hide their watches but rather wanted a beautiful stand out divers watch that matched their lifestyle. It looks as good diving or in casual attire as it does with a suit. Whatever you are wearing the watch will "pop" and stand out in a classy way.
This is from 16 years of ownership experience.

I'm rather biased as I have the TT black - in my opinion it is more versatile but still packs a punch! However don't be swayed by others - you decide what YOU prefer !

You can't go wrong with either choice. I wore a TT black sub for 10 years. At the time I bought my TT sub I had been wearing a SS sub for 12 years. I knew I wanted a TT sub but could not make the leap to the blue, it just screamed too loudly for me.
I like the blue a lot more know and wouldn't shy away but recently the TT GMTc sang louder. Good luck with your final choice and post pics when you pull the trigger.

Black TT for me. The blue looks cool but I feel that black goes with everything. Happy hunting.

I'll hang with the apparent minority on this one. It's black two tone for me and it's not even close. As has been said previously, the bluesy just jumps out too much and won't go well with certain colors and types of outfits. The black is also more elegant IMO. You have to suit yourself in the long run.
