Icon5 Recommended independent service centres in London (Or Kingston Upon Thames area)?

Hi all,

My OP is about 5 years old (bought new) and has been worn almost daily since purchase- unless I am in the house all day or have a special occasion to wear one of the fancier ones.

I am feeling it is running a bit fast and could do with some love.

I wanted to know if anyone can recommend a good independent service centre in Central London?

Also how much they charge?

Or if I am lucky near Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.

As I have heard they can be cheaper than the official store.

On a side note has any one done the official route recently - if so how much did it cost?

Kingston is my old hometown!! I know there is a Rolex ad in the Bentall centre, but they will just send it off to the uk service centre.

There is a shop in Surbiton called Guess & co. They serviced my 50's Tudor (movement and clean up £150) and valued my 60's Rolex op.

Here's there address and number.
24 Victoria Road
Surbiton
Greater London
KT6 4LD
TEL: 020 8399 5400

Sending your op to Rolex would probably be cheaper than having a sub/gmt/Daytona serviced as there are no complications/depth tests.

Russell Talerman on Maddox st. Excellent service and he's an authorised Rolex watchmaker with a Rolex parts account. He also does laser repairs to dings and deep scratches so there's no danger of over polishing. Can't recommend him highly enough.

x2 here!! I used Russell Talerman to put a WG Panda dial and red hands on my Daytona and they did a great job - fast, efficient service including pressure testing - all done in about 1 hour while the wife and I shopped on Bond Street!!

Highly professional and friendly service!

Thank you, I think this is a good bet!
