Ready to say goodbye to DSSD

Spent a few hours on 47th (diamond district in nyc) yesterday hunting down a Royal Oak 15400 for a good friend.

Been going back and forth on trading in the DSSD as it no longer really sings to me, is too similar to the Sub C Date which I do not want to move, and seems too big for my liking now.

The thing holding me back is I don't really have any particular watch in the cross hairs. I would like to get a Day Date, probably the DD40 but not crazy about any of the dials just yet.

For the record, the bracelet on that AP we got for my buddy yesterday is gorgeous. Never had an AP before and don't know if I ever will but lovely timepiece. Really well made, and the skeleton caseback is nice too.

Cheers.
