Rolex Oysterdate Precision Advice

A local guy is selling a stainless "vintage" Rolex Oysterdate. He put $1,500 on it but looks like he'd move on that price. This is the Rolex that you have to manually wind, and no chronometer. I have a 2008 Submariner and a 2005 Air King but don't know anything about these manual wind Rolexes.

Can anyone give me any advice about this watch before I make a run at it?

Thanks,

Latour

I agree. Looks like at least 2 different watches (at least 2 different dials). I am not versed yet in vintage so I'm not much help.

Are these before and after pictures after you glued the hour markers on the dial?
