Welcome to TRF.
Hard to tell how bad the scratch is in this picture. They may be able to polish it out at RSC. |

Is not on this watch,I am just showing the location to you guys only.
It is on my dad new GMT.he have sleepless night after that.is a deep nick/gouge mark. As per the Rolex Rep,even send for polishing,it will still have a mark there,so as a son,I wish I can change the part for him, this is first Rolex for a 70year old man :( |

welcome to TRF
a simple polish would remove any scratches from the watch,, if it is too deep then it wold at least look a bit better .. if you insist on making it like new then I'm afraid the whole bracelet would need to be changed |

What he's saying is that you have to order part of a bracelet. That section between the lugs is not removable.

GMT Master 2
The part# Alpino gave is correct: 32-23181
Both he and kilyung (real name: Mike) correctly explained that the small piece that your Dad scratched is not removable. You must buy the segment that includes the bracelet links too. Yes, it will be expensive. No, you can not order it - a Rolex dealer will want to see the watch, verify it and then order the segment for you and will likely insist on doing the work. Or a Rolex certified watchmaker who has a parts account could order it and replace it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Expensive , yes it is , I would imagine around 500$. Your AD will give you the exact price. He'll want to have the Watch in hands to order it, and install it when received. PS: when did this particular Gmt was bought new ? Between 2007 and (around) 2012 this segment included SEL+4 links (the P/N I showed you), but after that it's SEL+3 links, with a different P/N (that I don't know). |

Alpino,it was purchased mid of Dec for his Xmas gift...and yes is 3links on each side
I went to Rolex shop for this prob, that "lovely" sales man, without checking,"oo u need to change the complete bracelet and it cost you $2000".I don't know if I go there again tomorrow will they allow me to change the segment or I need to buy the complete bracelet. What type of service is that?this is the aftersales service I am getting? Last edited by aircraftwong; 3 January 2016 at 02:16 AM.. Reason: Typo error |

.
You should ask a technician not a salesman. Your AD should have a watchmaker. If there's no solution, try find the RSC in (or nearest) your city. |
