What watch model do I have?

I purchased this watch in Rome, Italy in 2001. It was described as a 1950's era Rolex.

The watch is stamped Brevet + on one end and has the number 97553 on the other. Both areas where these marks are found possess small indentations per the photo.

In looking around the closest model I find is a 1954 bubbleback model 6332. Hoping someone can confirm.

Also, regarding those indentations, I am guessing they represent damage? Any comments would be helpful.

Thanks!

The model no should be inside the case back. Have a watchmaker open her up. Harry
