Tudor Black bay question

I have a BLNR, which has a thinner case than the Black bay. I was curious if the Black Bay sits more flush on the wrist than the Rolex, hence making the total thickness similar to the BLNR?

BBN has a flat back but is still a bit thicker than the Rolex!

It's thicker but has a different feel because of the flat back. It's very comfy to wear tho. It does sit more flush on the wrist as I compare it to my 16710 thats on right now. If your thinking of picking one up, it's a great piece. I love mine

I have a bony 7.3 inch wrist and generally modern Rolexes do not wear comfortably on me. I stick mainly to four and five digit models. I few months back I spend a couple hours at the AD trying on different Rolexes again just to see if maybe I could find a sport piece that fit good. The modern GMT and Exp II wears better on me than a modern Sub or Daytona as the CB seems a little flatter. For me, fit and comfort has less to do with case thickness and more to do with the case back and the way the lugs curve.
Ended up over in the Tudor section and the BB fit better than any of the sport Rolexes. The case back is almost recessed, so while the case is "fat", with the curved lugs and recessed back it sits great on the wrist. To me it wears very comfortably and balanced. Saving a few K was a bonus...

Wears totally different. The biggest difference (and thus making it slightly more comfortable) is that the Black Bay does not have the sharp lugs like the BLNR. Very nice fit but certainly wears a lot higher.

I have all 5 digit rolexes (sub/daytona/airk-ing..). As soon as I saw the black bay (BBN) I really wanted one. Once I tried one on in the shop I was hooked. Going from a 5 digit rolex to the BBN was a big change as the BBN has a solid bracelet and more substantial clasp. I prefer the look of BBN over the modern super case rolex and can honestly say that its very well put together.
Don't get me wrong, my favourite watch is my 16610LV however thats probably down to the fact that I've had it for almost 10 years and it feels a part of me but since getting the BBN no rolex has touched my wrist!.
For someone with a 6 digit rolex I believe that they may have a different view.
