Can you recommend a Rolex Certified Independent?

I'm in the US and was wondering if anyone can recommend a Rolex certified independent. I'm looking for a bit more flexibility on what I'd like done to my watches vs a Rolex Service Center and at least some of the Rolex certified independents I've come in contact with.

I have one watch where all I need is the bracelet polished and at least the one Rolex certified independent my AD is dealing with will only refinish the whole watch and not just the bracelet.

I have another watch where all I need are the dial and hands replaced but they won't do it without performing an overhaul.

It's a bit upsetting only because I feel I'm being nickle and dimed here on work I don't want done vs what I'm asking for. Or am I over reacting here? Are Rolex certified independents bound by Rolex on the type of service they're allowed to perform on watches?

Or is it a case where this Rolex tech just doesn't see the money worth the time to just refinish a bracelet for example?

I use Jewelers On Time. They do small (replacing hands) to large jobs (movement service) for me. One of their watchmaker (Vanessa) is a member on here.

I have used ABC watchwerks (Dalton Toledo) for the past 6 years, I am on the west cost and in the same state. I have heard great reviews of Vanessa & Rik as well, they are on the east coast. There is also Bob Ridley in Texas as well.

Thank you for the recommendations. Is it true that independents with a Rolex parts account cannot order dials? Are their different tiers of accounts or older accounts who are grandfathered in to order everything?

My guy can't order dials which I wasn't aware of. I feel a little foolish now.

I'm in Maryland towards DC but I'm also open to shipping my watch to the right person.

Have you contacted Buddy Huguley in Annapolis to inquire? Ive used him before when I used to live in MD.

The other watchmakers recommended here are also top notch.

If you want someone local, go to Herndon Clock & Watch Co. in Herndon, Virginia.

I have used this gentleman for my last 4-5 watches..

It'll definitely be in good hands. Take some pics before you send it off so you will have some before & after pics to compare. Looking forward to the results.

Chamosa Watch Repair - Dallas, TX. Mr. Chamosa is a master Rolex technician (or whatever the right term is) and spent a number of years in the Dallas RSC. Now on his own...does outstanding work. Would highly recommend.

I sent a watch to Rik that spent a few weeks in a muddy river after I lost and found it. He serviced it and sent it back to me 1/10 of a second slow a day. Enough said.

Anyone in the Vancouver BC area? I am looking for someone who can get me a authentic Rolex dial for my Daytona.
