New member. Which Submariner to buy?

Greetings all,

New member here :)

I'm a 30 year old and currently own a number of watches. Not a collector as such, but have accumulated some less prestige brands like Cartier, and Hermes over the years. Currently exploring Subs, and looking at buying my first.

Need some advice. I'm torn between these two models:
- 116610 LN / Stainless Steel Date / Black Dial ($11,000)
- 116613 LN / 2-Tone (Gold/SS) / Black Dial / Black & Yellow Bezel ($17,000).

Not sure about anywhere else, though there is a current supply and demand issue in Australia with a 1+ year waiting list on the 116610 model nation wide. It is apparent, the 116613 is available and not as "in demand".

My question is the $6K price difference worth it?

Also.. I'm no fashion guru but is the two-tone with gold less appealing in the sense it looks more formal or too flashy and breaks the best of both worlds?
I work an office job, and weekends I like very summer casual wear... shorts/t-shirt and prefer to remain low key. Will the 116613 style look out of place?

Resale value?

Any advice appreciated. Cheers
