Grand Lange 1 Moonphase Lumen

Interested in everyone's thoughts on this new release...I think it looks amazing, though I wonder if the novelty of it would eventually wear off.

The Grand Lange 1 Lumen has always been on my short list of pieces I want to own and this in my opinion is an even better version. I am definitely interested as well but keep wondering if these pieces are too outside of the box and could I see myself wearing it long term or would the novelty wear off. I am 35 yrs old and absolutely love the piece but would I feel the same way about it when I am 50? (For whatever reason I am drawn to references that are different which is probably why I own a Patek 5235g and Vintage 1655 ExpII)

Limited to 200 pieces wonder what it will cost? Nice alternative to PP 5575

Definitely interesting and well done, especially that moon phase. Need to see it in the flesh to see how all the elements work together.

I think it's incredibly beautiful and wonder if Ken (paverman) will be looking to add one!

Very nice watch would probably go with the older version and save some money.

The older version of the MP or the Lumen? Because assuming a decent discount from the AD, you're not going to save all that much between the latter and this watch.

It is a high price point in my opinion for what you get. I bet you can get one but I do not foresee much of a discount. I love it but do I love it for 75K? I just dont know LOL

I believe retail for the Lange 1 lumen w/o moonphase was about that price. But I agree, it's definitely pricey

Rather get PP 5575 when prices soften

The translucent dial ruins for me an otherwise beautiful ALS.

Since it is the third piece they used this "lumen" process maybe it was perceived as just another version but pretty damn cool in my opinion. At list price I wouldnt be a buyer but am definitely considering if discounts can be had.

pretty hard to save some some money on lumen ones as average price is still above retail

Looks great but I would probably go for a more classic dial.

It's something that I would not expect from a brand like A Lange Sohne but I find it very cool nonetheless

I would love to have it as a combo with my 1815. On its own tho? Hell yeah. That watch makes me drool every time i see it.

I will admit though. The dial and subdials on my 1815 are magnificent and drool at those too
