Old cop shows and Rolex
So, lately I've been watching Hunter, Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue. Be it gangsters, cops, lawyers in these shows -
I've been spotting a lot of Rolex (or meant to appear to be) in scenes. Also, have noticed quite a few references to Rolex in script dialogue. I finally snapped a shot after the 10th or so reference.... Has anyone else had any these type of issues? :D Sent from my LG-P769 using Tapatalk

All the time, Timothy Nelson...all the time. My eyes are Rolex magnets. It's a sickness.

The gold Rolex's on a cop look kind of silly. In the case of Jackie Gleason it was probably intentional.

It's kind of true. The deadbeat cops in my city cant solve any crimes and won't book criminals in jail. Sleep on the job on taxpayer money and they all wear rolexes when you go file a report.

Not to turn this political, but you can thank prop 47 for them not being able to do anything... I only went there since you called them deadbeats. Lets just keep it to the watch on the wrist.

Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry with Peter Fonda, Susan George, and Vic Morrow playing the cop chasing them (shown in pic with his GMT). Stupid movie from the 70's but I thought it was cool when I was 12.

Killer shot of a Rolex in Charles Bronson's Assassination flick. Will pop it in some time and capture it!
