Seadweller 16600 box info required

hi all

I am thinking about trying to get the *set* for my currently wrongly boxed X dated 16600. Could anyone advise what the correct box would have been when new and the correct tool kit that this is supposed to have.

thanks in advance

I don't have box numbers memorized, but the photo below depicts the correct box. From late 1980s to early 1990s.

16600 Aug-96 68.00.01
16600 Jul-99 68.00.71
16600 Nov-99 68.00.55 (Rolex U.S.A)
16600 Sep-04 64.00.02
16600 Mar-05 31.00.04
16600 Feb-06 31.00.64

Thanks all. I have a box that should be OK for it.

any idea on the tool kit ? there are a few on the bay , but seems to be different leather and dated H table inserts. They are not cheap though...

Not sure if this helps, as it's from 1995, but here's my SD full set, W-serial. Boxes could also be different depending on where the watch was sold, U.S. vs. Europe vs. Asia.

A question for Aaron ...

Nice full set you have there Sir.

Can I ask ..... is a serial numbered hang-tag part of your set ?
I have a 1999 SD 16600 with all the goodies but no serial numbered hang tag.
I've always wondered if the previous owner lost the s/n hang-tag or if the original set didn't include one

That set came after the X serial numbers.

That set came after the X serial numbers. About three years too late.

Ah, that makes sense then, since the X serials began as early as 1991, I believe. Interesting stuff.

I wish there was a more definitive list and/or website that broke down all of the correct boxes and sets. I've seen some partial lists, but it seems to be all over the place.
