Just call me flipper

Guys, is this the fastest flip. Went to the Mall today, popped into my AD to speak for a coffee, he showed me a brand new Sub date 16610 they had in from Rolex yesterday. My eyes popped, so guess what, managed to flip the airking and came back with the brand new M series Sub.

I'm like a child on Christmas eve, and I do intend keeping it

That Sub is superb, but the AK was great as well.

Could be a record flip. That Air King was sweet. But the sub is The 1. Great story. I think you will like the Sub more I recently did a flip also. But it was over the handlebars of my bike! Not for a watch

I agree...one of the all time greatest flips...good for you.

If given the same circumstance I would've done the same thing....

Although I will add, just so that the AK gets some love on this thread, one of my colleagues has a blue dial AirKing..and I'll tell you...A Rolex is a Rolex.
It is beautiful...I would never consider it a "starter Rolex".

But it'll never be a Sub..congrats!

Hey Mickey
Humm....I have been thinking to improve my customer service skills.
From now on I will be using a nice bag like the one from Goldsmiths when selling a brand new Sub to my fellow TRF members.
I have just ordered 500 bags in Rolex Green satin texture on the outside and white smooth carton in the inside, the only trouble is that instead of asking $5,250 for a BNIB 16610 Submariner I will be asking $5,253.....A man has to make a living ya know...

That is cool

You are going to make customers feel unique in two ways

Firstly by providing them a great deal on a watch in terms of pricing

Secondly by providing them a nice bag and a decent packaging

It's all about the living

Tasos you can wrap the watch in green coating so every watch you sell will have a GV tint!

Hey Jon, I thought originally you wanna take up cricket and get warnie as your coach...

I agree the AK was great, the dial was superb, but having the chance of a new sub only just delivered was a no brainer.

Congrads!! Good choice, as seems the Sub fits the size of your wrist a little better than the AK. Plus seems to fit your character and lifestyle better.

Now go out and get some scratches and dings in that Sub and use it hard!!!
