SubC Question
I have a SubC date. The rotating bezel is slightly misaligned. I'm only thinking about 1/4 of a minute, but enough to notice. It is even more noticeable in the dark as the luminescent dot is of course also misaligned and the greater distance and smaller size of the dot accentuates the difference.
I know I am probably being too picky, but is this a minor issue to remedy? The watch is still under warranty by the way. Thanks! |

Here is a picture
This picture shows what I mean pretty well. The bezel is misaligned to the right slightly. |

And if I adjust it a click then it is of course misaligned slightly to the left. It will only center properly between clicks.

If it bothers you that much and the watch is still under warranty ask your AD or a RCS to fix it.

Just slightly tweak it counter-clockwise. These bezels ride on spring tensioned ball bearings and there is a little wiggle room in between clicks. It certainly doesn't look that far off in the pic.

For the price paid, your not being picky at all.
Nice to have warranty as well as Rolex will make it perfect for you. When it comes back fixed you will be much more content. |

As others have said. I will add that out of (3) SubCs, none have been perfect. Kind of annoying, but not a huge enough deal for me.

I doubt that would bother me; the purpose on a dive watch is to track air usage during a dive. It's more than close enough for the purpose. Seems that buying a dive watch for jewelry one shouldn't expect it to function past its original intent. I know, it's expensive, it's a Rolex and should be perfect. It's a design flaw if one needs to track factional seconds although not the purpose of a dive watch. I like the second track on my Tudors for that purpose.

If you'd like you're watch to come back from warranty work with scratches on it, send it in... Personally, so many Subs have that issue, just leave it alone. Nobody else will notice.
