At the risk of sounding uninformed about other brands. Can someone explain how that Panerai functions as a GMT? I can see the GMT hand - I guess you just use the main dial as reference?......I would get night and day confused in the alternate timezone haha.

Yes, the Pam 320 is a 12 hour GMT. Requires a bit more mental exercise to keep track of day and night in the other zone.

I've used it overseas and it works fine. Just not as 'good' as the Rolex.

For me, the rotating 12-hour bezel is easiest/quickest/most intuitive to read. As long as you know if the place you are tracking is ahead or behind, it's a breeze. Here's an example, 10.20 local time, 7.20 tracked time.

I also suffer from the same affliction aptly called GMTcytis. I have been suffering since acquisition of PAM 88, B&M Hampton Magnum dual time, Rolex Coke, BLNR, TT GMT-C, Omega Great White GMT, Omega SMP GMT co-axial, Omega SMP GMT 50th anniversary and EXP II 42mm Polar. I'm not sure I'm ready to be cured.

I have a soft spot [and need] for multi time zone watches of all stripes. And like Adam, some come with 12 hour bezels as well as 24.
