Just bought first Rolex
Hello, I have just purchased my first Rolex on EBay, A Oyster Perpetual 1501 Cal 1570. I was wondering if the watch is authentic and what year it may be. Could anyone that has knowledge about this watch please leave feedback, Thank you

congrats (hopefully). can't verify authenticity. but looks somewhat similar to my belated grandfather's (now mine) circa !950s date.

Looks good to me but the lume looks too white for its age.
I dont understand the logic of asking for authenticity after purchase. Year we cant tell you until you give us at least the first 3 numbers of the serial number. Looks to be mid to late 70's as just a quick observation.
