What Discount have you been offered on SD since Price Increase

I was wondering if the memebers who have either purchased or shopped for an SD since the price increase could tell me what percentage discount they have either been offered or given in a purchase.

Thanks.

Due to the rumor of the SD ending its run now that the DSSD is coming out no dealer is really doing any dealing on them at all.

Best price I was about to find through a TRF member on a NIB from this year was $5800 PM me for info.

Keep in mind, Rolex has NOT said they will not be making the SD anymore....

I am interested in the SD, and so far the AD refuses to discount it.

Best price currently (that I have found) is $5,785 in Ontario. I bought mine $300 cheaper in May.

The prices I have just given are taxes included, shipped to my door.

My AD in San Mateo, CA. won't give a discount as other's are pulling back.... when I was in Cancun this past weekend, a new SD would be $5600 out the door.

Went to see two AD's in the last 2 weeks. First AD gave me a best price of $5175 (Z serial number). The second AD"s best price was $5250 (M serial number). Both cash only deals, no credit card. I thought I could do better and wanted them to go to $5000, so I said no to both. Hearing your replies, maybe I'll go and get one. My only wory is that I'll get it and never wear it because I love my SS GMT IIC so much. It is so very comfortable as compared to the old style band on the SD.
I guess what I really want is a Milgauss GV but my AD's have no expectations of getting one and I would never pay the outrageous prices being asked for them.

I think $5250 is an amazing deal on an SD.

Yeah, I guess the issue I am having trouble getting over is that 4 mos. ago that was basically the MSRP and I could have bought it for 10% off that price. I always liked the SD but didn't feel like I NEEDED to have one until I heard they were being discontinued.

I thought it was official that the 16600 had been discontinued?

right, but doesn't necessarily mean they've all been pulled out of the ads shelves! there's still a bunch out there being sold!

Yes, I saw an SD yesterday. It was at a Ben Bridge. Also, an M-series Coke, a Non-COSC 14060m, an LV.

My SD official Rolex Italy price was € 4915.00 . Got it for € 4600.00 after a long and sweaty debate on the phone( I was a royal customer anyway). Still....I think is a bit too much.

I got 15% off the AD's last M serial SD in Sydney yesterday. Total cost AUD$6,600.

I'm pretty happy about it.

I'll just say that to accompany the price increase my AD said their margins were reduced. I never take anything I hear from them at face value, but if true, they now have less profit to play with and it could make discounts harder to get.

My AD here in the MD area was offering 15% off the SD.....but perhaps it was due to the fact that I proved them WRONG on the fact that their NON COSC 14060 sub was NOT COSC certified!!!!! I went around and around with the manager!!!!!!!! and he finally looked it up....and I was right.....have him down to 4300.00 + tax for the 14060...now just have to convince the girlie!!!!!!!
