help me decide next purchase :) 15202R vs 5164R or 5167R

I have several APs (T3 grey dial, FC ROO 44 Novelty, RB2 RG) and I was thinking of adding something dressier.. My initial choice was Jumbo 15202 in RG, then yesterday on the plane back from Mexico saw a gentleman sporting a Patek Aquanaut 5167R.. I like the Aquanaut but I prefer the Dual time version and then by accident yesterday I saw they announced a 5164R.

What do you guys think? The only thing I'm wary is the chocolate dial and brown strap, I'm more of a black color guy.. So to cut it short:

15202 RG vs 5167R?

Thank you

When it comes to Patek -- I'm a Nautilus guy.

Good luck!!

I am loving my 15202or. I also have the regular 5167 too, but the rose gold is very nice.

it is gorgeous that's the exact same watch I series RG with Blue Dial :) the only thing I'm wondering is to check the YG version but I think I prefer RG - I don't have anything in YG

Have to give this one to the AP - the 5164/R is a beauty, but AP for the win!

The question is do you want a full gold watch or a gold watch on rubber strap? I am more for gold on rubber, don't know about you but you need to figure this out, 2 very different watches that IMO cannot be compared

I also have an ROO Novelty 44 RG and yes I prefer RG/Rubber... :/ but never had a solid RG watch - I don't dress up, in fact rarely - but think would still look nice w/jeans + t-shirt... In reality all you guys have influenced me with all the Jumbo talk.. I tried the 15400 and it's (imho) very bland.. I guess I'm used from all my chronos to not look at big seconds

Agreed... That being said the AP is dressy and sporty of
which I'd prefer ... The 5164 on Leather with deployment
clasp would be a very nice dressy piece . I'd skip the rubber ,
Not much of a rubber strap guy...

I feel if I go leather might as well look at 5712 or even one which I love but I can't justify the $ right now 5980R... That's probably the next one though before I pick up another RM

Me too but the SS model, the bracelet makes IMO 40% of a Naut, had the 5712 and 5726 but on strap, never fell in love with it, would probably have been different had it been on bracelet, but for the Aquanauts I like on the rubber, the 5167 with bracelet does nothing to me, since I have a AP diver in CE on rubber I find rubber great, the fit and feel is awesome...

I agree with lapince since I sold of the strap version of the 5726 to move towards the 15202. I definitely like bracelet over strap.

For nautilus or RO models yes they are made to be on bracelet, but aquanauts and ROO models are made to be on straps, I think it's great to have one of each, just passed order for a 5712 and waiting for final price for a 5167R, if the price is good am getting it too, makes a discrete and super comfy RG watch, if we were living in different times would have gotten the AP 44RG but draws too much attention for me, even the RG aqua will be worn on special occasions that won't focus the attention of the wrong crowd, at least the ce diver and 5712 are basically watches that almost no one knows, which is very good for me...

AP's gold bracelet is a thing of great beauty, but with a few APs the 5164R is a great choice. I'd think about selling one and getting both.

Neither for me. 15202 should be in steel as it was intended. 5164 is not worth what it will inevitably cost for gold on rubber when prices are announced. Its new so no discounts and you will get killed if you ever resell.

Sick heavy weight little flashy watch which I own and love and an extremely comfortable discreet lightweight watch which I wear daily (in steel) very tough to compare but love them both
