Just Joined - First Question
Alight Lads,
Here goes my first thread! I have my first Rolex (116710LN) and having had it come back from Rolex Service in showroom condition, I have decided to take the bracelet off and replace it with a Rubber B and NATO for work purposes. I made a speculative buy on Ebay with a used Daytona Clasp that can be sacrificial to go with my Rubber B. The seller is adamant its genuine but just want to get a second opinion. The clasp procured looks like its laser marked, but its a bit faded, is this a legitimate clasp mechanism? The marking read ' Rolex (Emblem) Geneve, Swiss Made, RolexSA(Symbol), 18k 750, 2 Symbols on the bottom ', not sure of its age but the marking is a little on the 'dot matix look side' but definitely laser etched originally. Your thoughts and experience please? Cheers |

Perhaps he was selling a genuine fake? Then it's genuine.

Guys thanks for that you've been brilliant, item on the way back now.
Just out of curiosity, does anybody have an image of how it should be? Really appreciate it, |

Go online and search for a gold Daytona clasp. You will see the difference between this one and the real deal instantly.
