With all these hypothetical questions
going around why not
"Whats the one thing in your life you could wish that you could change or changed?" Or would change nothing.... Mine is easy should have never married my first wife, I still feel the effects 21 years later and we had no kids.... |

This is what I would change...
I wish I didn't convince my in-laws to move to the same state we did...

I would take back the unkind things I have said or done to people who did not deserve it Sean

For me it's not;
anything to do with ex-wives, drugs, work, kids, life, religion, politics, normal sex, friends, money and so on and so on........ For me the thing that I did, just recently, was to wake up the little monster that has gotten me into more trouble that anything else in my life. Life for the wife and me was nice and serene and then I just had to go and do it and our lives now will be forever changed. I took the little BLUE pill.. Got me something new to play with after all these years. |

Maybe I'm slow today. I think the point was that taking the blue pill is not a bad thing.

Nothing...can't dwell on mistakes or what could have been...make the best out of the hand you are dealt. Right now I'm happy and can probablt trace back all those things that happened to me to get me where I am today. Back then it seemed like Hell...today it aint so bad and the culmination is pretty sweet. J |

I have a lot of things that I wish I could take back, including any harm that I may have done to others, and I would change how little effort I put into high school.

There are too many regrets and "what if" in this life and if you dwell on it you won't get anywhere. Ground hog day is a good movie

True; not much point in dwelling on things if it stalemates you. But sometimes it's helpful to reflect on your life's experiences to appreciate what you've learned in the process.

During WW2 my mother was evacuated from a port city in England inland to a town not targeted by the Nazis. She met my dad got married and had 4 sons---me #3. I have 3 sons. Without Mr Hitler none of this would have happened........ [including this post.] I think Capra's 'It's a Wonderful Life' shows well the impacts of a small change to the past.
Apart from all that I regret I never saw Vancouver until in my 40's because I would probably have settled there. [Not a big regret 'cos the Peoples Republic of Cambridge is a 'pisser' place to live.

Life is too short to have regrets. You make the best of any situation you're in, trust God, and the rest works itself out with time and healing.
