I use things like this as an excuse to work even harder to replace the money spent.
Its not that I'm tight..... its just hurts knowing the priority has changed.

I was an early adopter of plasma - I remember buying a 42" screen for £8,000 ($16,000) quite some years ago. Main set in the front room is now a 50" Pioneer plasma, plus a 42" panasonic plasma in the spare room. I bought a 52" LCD screen about 12 months ago and hated the damned thing with it's "grey blacks" and sent it back to swap for a plasma.

Big plasma TV's ... love them more than my watch ;)

Ditto David.... We like slumming it when it comes to electron beams being focused on a phosphor coated screen.....

They are worth the price.
